Michael J. Moller - 20+ years Mike Moller

 

Mike Moller entered the Life Insurance business with Canada Life in 1991, and joined MLA Benefits in 2000.  Mike's business would define the term "general practitioner".  Mike brings to MLA a broad experience in advising personal clients on their estate plan and financial goals.  Mike has gained a well deserved reputation for his sincerity and integrity in dealing with clients.  Mike has also developed a significant book of business in the corporate insurance and group insurance markets.

Prior to entering the life insurance business, Mike spent nine seasons in the National Hockey League with three teams: Buffalo Sabres, Edmonton Oilers, and Hartford Whalers. He has two Stanley Cup rings when he played for the Edmonton Oilers in 1987 and 1988.  Mike played with the Canadian National Junior Team that won Canada's first World Championship in 1982, and worked as the Assistant Coach for the Red Deer Rebels Junior Hockey team from 1992 to 1995.

In addition to his busy business life, Mike continues to serve as the colour commentator for the Red Deer Rebels Radio Broadcasts on the Drive 106.7FM.  He is a director of the Red Deer Minor Hockey Commission, a past member of the Board of Governors of the Red Deer Golf & Country Club, and a hockey school instructor for both Sylvan Lake Summer Hockey Camp and Red Deer Minor Hockey.

Mike is married to Lorna, and they have three children: Megan, Braun, and Dean.
